WORKING WITH THE TEAM: EFFECTIVE COLLABORATION BETWEEN TEACHERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

Our special guests this session will include Meredith Villines, Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Consultant, and Katie Swisher, Montessori Teacher Extraordinaire. Meredith consults with preschool teachers and families on strategies for supporting children who are eligible for early childhood special education to meet developmental goals, and Katie Swisher is a primary guide at Harmony Montessori. Meredith and Katie will be sharing their process and strategies for finding Montessori-friendly solutions to support children with special needs.

Discussion facilitators will be Dave Andrews, speech pathologist and special education administrator for Multnomah Early Childhood Program, and Sarah Werner Andrews, Director of Primary Training at Montessori Northwest.
