Helping Hands

Montessori Northwest is pleased to offer support for teachers working with children with special needs in their communities. MNW will bring together Montessori teachers and special education professionals to support inclusion in Montessori classrooms. We will use our combined expertise to set and implement learning goals, support positive behavior, and share resources and inspiration so that everyone can benefit from diverse, inclusive communities.

Dave Andrews, speech pathologist and special education administrator for Multnomah Early Childhood Program, and Sarah Werner Andrews, Director of Primary Training at Montessori Northwest, will facilitate the discussions, joined by a team of guest speakers from the Multnomah Early Childhood Program, Jessica Wade, Tara Haug, and Olivia Bass.

We will be offering SET 1 certificates for this event. Please RSVP to guarantee your certificate.
