I have two roles at MNW right now. During the academic year, I am Program Director of Teacher Training, which involves licensing, accreditation, and supporting our training courses. In the summer, I am the Assistants to Infancy Course Assistant and I get to support students in the A to I training and play with babies and toddlers!
What I like about MNW
I love the infectious excitement and energy of the adult students as they are watching new presentations from the trainers. There is always something interesting going on here.
A time of day
Late afternoon in Autumn. I like crunching through the leaves in the hazy sunshine with a breeze that has left the warmth of summer behind but carries a brisk hint of the winter to come.
The first car I ever wanted (and still do) is a 1969 Camaro SS with a 396 cu in. V8 engine in azure turquoise or garnet red or hugger orange, but tuxedo black would be great, or rallye green would be really nice, too. Ah, well...I have a good imagination and dreams to live on.
Cats or dogs?
Cats are lovably ridiculous--they work so hard to keep a feline aura of composure and dignity, but constantly fail to do so.
Words to live by
Early to bed and early to rise...just makes me feel happy.
A recent worldwide survey showed that out of 2,146,703,436 people, 94% were too lazy to actually read that number. I've never had a Montessori Elementary student understand this joke--I guess because they like to read big numbers!
