Q: Where and when will the NW Montessori Job Fair take place?

Q: What are the hours of the Job Fair? Do I have to attend the entire event?
The Fair will be a drop-in running from 10:00am-2:00pm.
Q: Does it cost to attend?
Job-seekers do not need to register nor pay to attend the NW Montessori Job Fair. There is a $75 Tabling Registration Fee for schools and job-providers to secure a table.
Q: What is included in the Tabling Registration Fee?
One 6’ x 3’ table, two chairs, one 8"x11” acrylic sign stand, and your name listed online and in print. Access to electrical outlets is limited. Indicate your want for electrical access on your application.
Q: Do I need to be AMI/Montessori-trained to attend the Job Fair?
No. We anticipate schools and administrators to post a full spectrum of employment found within Montessori learning communities. This will certainly include the need for trained guides, though other positions like teacher-aids, office staff, after-school childcare providers, and activity specialists do not typically require Montessori training.

Q: How do I register for a table?
Tabling assignments will be made on a first-come-first served basis. All tablers need to complete and submit the attached application form. Confirmation of space will be sent to you within two weeks of receipt of the application.
Q: What is the confirmation process for tabling?
Specific space will be assigned and confirmed by Montessori Northwest upon receipt of full payment of fees. Please note that space is limited and the ability to table may sell out. You are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
There will be no refunds issued for the NW Montessori Job Fair. Job-Providers acknowledge that cancellation of their contract includes forfeiture of access to table at the function.

Q: What if my school has a job to post but cannot attend the Job Fair?
We understand that not all schools/organizations will be able to table at the NW Montessori Job Fair on March 4th, 2017. To better serve all job-providers, those who are unable to attend can have their job postings prominently displayed at the event, guaranteeing that your job posting will be seen by all
attendees--There is a $25 administrative charge for this service.
Q: Am I guaranteed to find a new employee or to secure a job if I attend?
No. Montessori Northwest does not endorse any employers nor applicants that are affiliated with the Job Fair. All participants are responsible for their own research about schools, positions, and interviewees. Montessori Northwest is not responsible for the quality of any applicant hired for any position.
Q: Is parking available?
Montessori Northwest has a small parking lot that holds about ten cars on the corner of SE 6th Avenue and SE Alder Street. Look for the spots are marked “MNW RESERVED”. Ample free and metered parking can be found on the streets surrounding MNW.
