Supporting 2.5 - 3 Year Olds in Toddler Communities

  • Montessori Northwest 622 Southeast Grand Avenue Portland, OR, 97214 United States (map)

SATURDAY, MARCH 9, 2019, 9:00AM - 3:00PM

Are you a toddler guide or assistant struggling to satisfy the needs of your 2.5 and 3 year olds?

It is more and more common for the transition to the Children’s House to happen at age 3, leaving many children in Toddler Communities who are ready for new challenges. Join experienced toddler guide Lynn Gulick to explore activities and materials that suit the needs of older children in toddler environments. Lynn will review each area of the classroom, discussing how the materials continue to support development. Come ready to make new materials so you can return to your classroom ready for success.

Lynn Gulick is an AMI Consultant and  A to I guide at Marin Montessori School. Lynn has served children and families for more than 20 years, and loves sharing her wealth of experience with other guides. She is a certified doula and supports new families through parent infant and walker classes, and in-home consultations.
