A New Course Offering at Montessori Northwest

Are you brand new to Montessori, considering Montessori teacher training, or ready to learn more about the principles that guide the magic in a Montessori classroom? Introduction to Montessori Education is the perfect place to start.  

This 12 hour course will be offered at various flexible times and formats throughout the year. The course will introduce the history of Montessori education, foundational concepts in human development from early childhood through young adulthood, the development of independence, responsibility, and key elements in preparing environments that support learning at all ages.

The courses will be led by internationally recognized AMI Primary Directors of Training, Sarah Werner Andrews and Michelle Becka. Both Sarah and Michelle have extensive classroom experience working with children and adults.

At Montessori Northwest, Sarah and Michelle continue their exemplary work leading students and professionals through Montessori teacher training, continuing education workshops and professional development opportunities.

This is a 12-hour course, offered on-site, 3 different times during the year. See below for dates.

Audience: This course is designed for any adult who works with children. This includes but is not limited to: teachers, after-school instructors, program administrators, nannies, and grandparents. This course is also ideal for those interested in learning more about the formal trainings offered at Montessori Northwest.
