What I do at MNW
I am the Managing Director at MNW. In that role, I oversee the daily operation of the organization and serve as its primary spokesperson. My job is to ensure that trainers and learners have what they need to be successful, to inform and educate the public about our mission and programs, and to work with the board to ensure that we continue to thrive for decades to come.

What I like about MNW
There is so much to love about MNW! I particularly appreciate the unwavering commitment to mission and the deep dedication of our entire staff. AMI training is absolutely transformational for participants, and to witness that growth and inner work is a true gift.

My Commitment to ABAR Work
My work in this realm dates back to the late 80’s, when I recognized that urban students and students of color in my boarding school environment faced extraordinary challenges in that realm based on their identity and experience. Since that time, I have led with awareness and acknowledgement of my white male privilege and have consistently leaned into my role as an ally.

Coast or Mountains
Coast! I grew up in New England and have always lived by the ocean, including several years living on an island 30 miles at sea. I’m happiest on boats, surfboards, and just plain splashing around.

Cats or Dogs?
I make a serious effort to meet every dog I come across. They are the best people! I have always had black labs, and my girl Junie is with me everywhere.

Fact or Fiction
I played guitar on stage with Jackson Browne.

Favorite Pastimes
Music is my passion, and I play guitar every day without fail. I also love to ride my motorcycle, especially when it involves dispersed camping and/or fly fishing. I have always loved reading and travel, and I am a devoted to my meditation practice and study of non-dualistic Shaiva Tantra.
