One of the three tools of responsibility is the regular adult-child meetings. Managing this aspect of the tools of responsibility is an important part of observing the child in front of you and is also a critical component of the planning and record-keeping process in the 6-12 environment.

Ellen will do a brief but deep dive into the theory and logistical management of these meetings. She will share the challenges she had at the beginning of her work in the 6-12 classroom as well as the solutions she found for overcoming these challenges.

When we can get this aspect of the tools working, it unlocks a totally different and more effective experience for both the children and adults in the Montessori 6-12 environment.
