Recorded Workshop – Fostering Cooperation

Join Polli Soholt, AMI 3-6 Trainer, to learn some key theoretical Montessori principles which will assist parents and professionals understand how children develop self-discipline. We investigate Montessori’s theory of the development of the will, and what the adults can do to assist in this development. We also cover the theory of how obedience (the ability to follow directions) develops. There are stages to this development, and if we support the child appropriately in each stage, the child will be able to develop self-discipline.
